Privacy Policy

The following is the Privacy Policy that outlines the collection of data(Data) required for this bot to run(Oni bot). It is a binding contract between the User ("you") and the bot ("Oni bot")Using the bot means that you agree to the Privacy Policy, and the Privacy Policy will apply for as long as you use the bot. If you wish to remove your data after you have chosen to stop using the bot, head to the section titled “User Rights” where you will have instructions on how you can clear the data collected which is related to your account).

The data collected includes, but is not limited to Discord user ID values, guild ID values and channel ID values. Using certain Moderation Commands such as: ban, kick, vcmute, mute and softban will collect your User ID. If you wish to clear your data collected from these commands, please join the Support Server and message Oni’s developer.

Access to Data

Access to Data is only permitted to Oni’s developer, and only required for the development, testing, and implementation of new features for the bot. This data is not sold or provided to any third party. You can view the data upon request from Oni’s developer in the Support Server linked in the Terms of Service.

Storage of Data

Data is stored in a PostgreSQL database. The database is secured to prevent any external access, however no guarantee is provided and Oni’s developer will have no liability for the unintentional or malicious breach of Data. If the scenario of an unauthorised Data access were to happen, users will be notified through the Support Server.

User Rights

At any point in time, you have the right to request to view the Data connected to your Discord account, Simply join the Support Server and message Oni’s developer. you have the ability to remove any Data connected to your account by using the “reset” command found in the bot’s help command.

Underage Users

The usage of the Bot is not permitted for minors under the age of 13. This is in compliance with the Discord Terms of Service. No information will be knowingly stored from an underage user. If it is found that a user is underage, all the data will be deleted as soon as possible.

“The bot’s owner” is self-explanatory.

1: Denial of Service

This refers to any action intentionally done to prevent the bot from working as intended.
This includes:
Spamming: Using multiple accounts or gathering a group or people with the purpose and sole intention of slowing down the bot.

2: Discord Terms of Service and Community Guidelines

You are required to follow Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines as long as your are using the bot.

Exploits:

This refers to anything that is intentionally done to cause the bot to malfunction.
What to do if you find a bug?
If you find a bug, no matter how small it is, please inform the bot’s owner in the Support Server.

Please use common sense when using the bot, do not do anything that you think will cause the bot, or anyone using it any harm. If you see someone using the bot in ways it was not intended to, please report them to the bot’s owner in the Support Server.
